From saving up for his first bat as a young boy to working towards his future career, Ben is positive, motivated, and persistent.

The 2nd Annual Matthew Martin Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Waubonsie Valley High School Senior Brendon Choi. He will continue his academic career at Mesa College (AZ) in the fall of 2022 with the hope of returning to WVHS to teach and coach after graduation
The 2nd Annual Naperville Renegades Scholarship winner is Hiroshy Wong. He wrote about the adversity his family faces daily, working hard to adapt to their new setting here in the United States. They moved here from Venezuela under extreme distress, and baseball has been his escape.
The 1st Annual Waubonsie Valley Scholarship was awarded to Senior Ryan DiGrazia. He will continue his academic and athletic career at Carthage College in the fall of 2021.
